Refreshing , dedicated and disciplined is for me the best way to describe Leila’s approach to teaching the piano. My daughter is not a natural piano player and requires at times a little motivation and Leila’s tailored approach has helped increase her capability and attention. For parents looking for a piano tutor who will bring the best out their child then Leila would have my recommendation.

My daughter started piano lessons with Leila when she was just 5 years old and has loved every lesson. Leila is extremely patient and has exactly the right tone for encouraging very little ones in a fun and entertaining way. I have been extremely impressed how quickly and easily Leila has developed my daughter’s piano playing and she looks forward to every lesson.

It has been a real pleasure to have Leila teach me to play piano. Having wanted to start playing for a number of years it was important for me to find a teacher who could offer the right balance between patience and pushing me to improve. Leila has been supportive, understanding of the pressures that work and family bring to the amount of practice I can undertake but most importantly willing to support my sometimes eclectic taste in music. I feel that I have improved my playing, sight reading and most importantly enjoyment with her continuing guidance and look forward to many more lessons in the future.

My teenage daughter Isabelle has been having piano lessons with Leila for around a year now. Leila is such a fantastic teacher and is so approachable and friendly, she even manages to get a conversation out of my daughter which is no mean feat with a 13 year old! There is no pressure to take exams but if you do she will guide you every step of the way.
Izzy enjoys every lesson which is all down to Leila’s excellent teaching and she has even spoken about taking music at GCSE level so I’m sure we will be seeing Leila for some time to come!

Very pleased to be learning the piano with Leila. She has a wonderful enthusiasm and patience when teaching. As an adult learner it is also important to me that she is supportive even though my time to practice is limited by a busy career and home life. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is tempted to learn at any age.

Leila is an absolute star! I have no idea how she manages to keep my incredibly active 7 year old focused for the entire lesson. He has taken to the piano like a duck to water and loves his weekly lessons. Thankyou Leila!
